- The third section refers to another box designed to request leaves related to leaves and temporary absences of the employee.
- After this, you must specify your absence among one of the alternatives they provide you. For example: illness, paternity, funeral, judicial, etc.
- Next, it is necessary to specify the total duration of the absence in days or hours. Afterwards, if there is any observation, it must be mentioned, and the document must be signed, including the delivery date.
- Finally, the last section of the form must be completed by the direct supervisor and the human resources manager. They must sign to approve or reject the leave and must also indicate the employee's position.
Steps to strike out from the DE-14

El TAL system belongs to time, attendance and leave acronyms, which is responsible for the administration of its acronym in the Department of Education of the Government of Puerto Rico.

How to make the Request in the TAL System?

- Code A1: Excused absence.
- Code A2: Unexcused absence.
